All natural grass fed, hormone & antibiotic free beef with a corn finish. The cow is fed grass in the open pastures like all the other cows but then is fed local Boulder County corn at the end. The corn finish will help with the marbling and allow the beef to have a better flavor.
Pricing and Weight Averages – Free Range Delivery and Pickup from Butcher is included. Product will be available for pickup in the local Boulder area. Beef is sold at $2.75 per LB for a Quarter and $2.60 per LB for a half or a full on the hoof weight (live weight).
Quarter – 213LBS to 300LBS – $600 Deposit – Estimated Total (Including Deposit) $800 to $1200.00
Half – 425LBS to 600LBS – $650 Deposit – Estimated Total (Including Deposit) $1,650.00 to $2000.00
Full – 850LBS to 1200LBS – $1250 Deposit – Estimated Total (Including Deposit) $2,500.00 to $3,500.00
Loss from bones, fat, etc. is approximately 35-55% off hoof weight. This will also depend on the types of cuts you are looking for.
Butcher Prices may vary but generally on a full you may spend $250 to $350 for standard butchering depending on cuts.
